Today, Lady would have turned 17 years old...
It’s the first birthday for her where...
... I don’t buy any Schmakos
... I don’t make any cupcake cakes
... I don’t get to hug her in my arms or feel her nose against my cheek...
Today is the first time it has really hit hard that she isn’t here...
I knew today would be hard, but not this hard...
I miss you with all my heart but it’s only ‘till we meet again’
